Description

The vial contains a mixture of 2.5 - 4.5 μm Nile Blue Fluorescent Particles that are dyed to have an excitation maximum of approximately 620 nm with a subsequent emission maximum of approximately 650 nm. This particle mixture is useful with flow cytometers equipped with a 488-nm argon laser. This particle mixture has compatible excitation and emission spectra with Allophycocyanin and Cy?5.

Preparation and Storage

Store undiluted at 4°C and protected from prolonged exposure to light. Do not freeze.  

Product Notices

1. Since applications vary, each investigator should titrate the reagent to obtain optimal results.

2. Caution: Sodium azide yields highly toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in plumbing.
